expand your founder's personality

Cookie is a joyful sole to be around and I enjoy all the time I spend with her. Her honesty sets her apart from the crowd. She is always there when I need her to be there. She is a magnificent mare with a graceful stride. She loves all her work. She is a water loving horse because she was born on the beach and spent two years playing with her old friends. She is easy to get along with so she has a lot of friends here and there. I think She’s one of a kind and sweet as a cookie.

I just finished tacking up we are going to practice in the front field today instead of the arena I am heading to the front field now. As we walk Cookie eyes an eagle flying over head. I jiggle the reins a little to get her attention and she seems to lessen. We enter the field, and I lead Cookie to the fence I climb up and try to get on and she gets a little agitated and starts to walk forward so I hop down and calm her and try again. When mounted I walk forward and as I do some walk halt transition the eagle Cookie was eyeing earlier lands on the fence lucky it’s not one I plan on using today. As I continue my warm up I stop and check my grith it’s a little lose so I go up one hole and ask for trot. As I trot I do a few figure eights and circles and then walk for a minute. I get a strong walk and then sit and ask for canter she doesn’t take it as easily as I wanted but it was the first canter of the day so it was fine. I go for one circle and ask for trot I sit the trot as it slows down and then ask for walk. I walk a circle and then head straight down the fence-line. I ask for trot and then canter and Cookie eagerly takes it because she is a barrel racing horse. As we ride like the wind down the fence-line I ask for trot and then walk and give a very good Cookie a break. After a five minute break I ask Cookie for a trot and turn her around on to my canter circle going the other way I walk and then halt I ask for canter out of the walk  like I did going the other way. We go for one circle and then I ask her for trot I post as she slows down we trot for a circle and then I sit and ask for canter she jumps in to it which is what you want so I only go for half a circle. I reach half point and ask for a trot then a walk I walk for two minutes and then halt I drop my stirrups and dismount I take off Cookie’s girth and saddle and place them on the Fence. I walk to Cookie’s shoulder and grab her mane I make a mental note that it would be time to cut it. I mount from the ground and get comfortable on cookie’s bare back I walk for a few minutes and then ask for trot I sit her trot I walk and then halt. I walk forward and ask for trot then canter she takes it nicely I go for two circles and then ask for trot and walk I love bareback riding! I turn around and and do a canter on that side. I tell Cookie what a go girl she was and dismounted i walk her to the fence to pick up her stuff I walk to the barn and untuck and turn her lose
